'Rainbows: symbols of hope and joy, and the beauty that can emerge after a storm'
Jacob started swimming with Adele when he had just turned 4, which was right after lockdown restrictions were lifted. Having not been in a pool for over a year thanks to COVID, he was a little nervous to start with. He needn’t have been though as within minutes he had a beaming smile on his face, excited to be back in the water and learning again.
Jacob is now about to turn 9 and after 5 years with Adele he has transformed into a confident and competent swimmer.
Adele is a superb swimming teacher, she really takes the time to get to know each child as an individual. She taylor’s her lessons to the children she is teaching and engages them all through play. Jacob still fondly remembers the early days of his lessons with Adele-Gruffalo themed lessons, flying in a rocket to the moon, making “pizzas”, the list goes on.
Adele knows just how to speak to each child so they feel valued, listened to and invested in.
Adele has been my son's swimming instructor and second mother since he was about 9 months old. Now, almost 10, the bond they share is so special. Adele is kind, caring, and supportive, and i would highly recommend her.
Eli has had 1-1 and group sessions. He has absolutely thrived under her guidance.
Adele has taught my daughter from 3 years old till now and she's nearly 7 years old. Rosie initially was so scared of water and would never even put her face in it without getting upset. Adele worked closely with Rosie making every lesson fun and interactive.
Rosie is now such a competent confident swimmer. Adele is so much more than a swimming instructor she becomes a friend and treats every child individually! Rosie loves Adele and all her lessons especially when Easter, Halloween, Christmas is coming up as Adele goes out of her way to make it special.
